Overall i m a big fan of mackie mixers and speakers.
Recently i bought this mixer to replace an alesis multimix8 that had some channels busted within the first couple weeks.
Took it for a test run and it performed fabulously.
Profx8 v2 owner here usb keeps being dropped so i just can t record using it.
I tried different usb cables and on different laptops desktops and this is just a piece of i have a small behringer 2 channels that i took out of the drawer and works flawlessly.
Mackie pro fx8 a powerhouse mixer i was seeking a rehearsal mixer for my keyboards after much research i was sold that this mixer was the ticket for me and at a great price.
Each channel has many options such as clip mute eq and line input etc.
Feels solid and well built.
I just think it s probably operator error.
Still trying to figure out the effects button as sometimes the effects were there and sometimes weren t in the mix even though i thought i set it.
The mixer is a mackie profx8 mini usb console equipped with effects it has preamps mackie low noise high headroom as well as 16 effects using the new 32 bit embedded processor rmfx running man fx.
The sliders and nobs feel well placed and sturdy.
The mixer itself judging by monitors and headphones is great.
Received the mackie profx8 channel mixer in record time and in perfect shape.
