Step 5 add. Mark a vertical line parallel with the wall in blue on the rafter and then cut along this line. Firstly each rafter should be placed on the front and rear wall plates making sure it is pushed up tight against the rear wall. Lay a framing square flat.

How to build a pitch roof. Step 4 install roof rafters. Firstly you need to get ahold of all the requirements of a roof deck on your pitched roof from the permit. Step 2 trace out and cut all remaining rafters.
